We were fortunate enough to have my cousin Matt play tour guide. It worked out perfectly with him only 10 minutes from our hotel. (Thanks, Matt for being so sensitive to our honeymooner schedule =) Matt and Crystal lead us on a great excursion around the island of Maui (Road to Hana). The pics don't do it justice..... but if I close my eyes I can still faintly hear Ooklah and feel the top down in the convertible. Here is a taste...
Ahhhhh.... Hawaii. The surf, the sun, the fruity drinks. Maui was what every bride needs after an intense year of wedding planning. We ended up with a lot of video and not many photos--however I wanted to share what we captured during this magical time together---representing our next chapter as husband and wife (haha as cheesy as that sounds)...
Here is the video that I created for the father/daughter dance. Perhaps I should have warned him! (The video doesn't start until after the first 30 seconds or so)
I was never the type of girl who plotted and dreamed about her wedding day. However, if I were to say there was one wedding moment I was looking forward to the most it would have to be dancing with my dad. And what a moment it was....
Since it was wet and rainy we had to rearrange the tables inside the tent to accommodate the photo booth area. It actually worked out quite well—letting all guests witness the chaos unfolding in front of the camera. =) A little taste below.... (ahhh, good times, good times.)
I apologize for my prolonged absence. Danny and I just returned from our Hawaiian honeymoon so I'm now starting to feel somewhat rejuvenated. It was so fun to return to see our photographer from the wedding had emailed us photos! Thanks Diana! Here is a taste...
Today one of my future sister-in-laws (Kristine Davi) and her mother (Sharon Pashayan) hosted a beautiful bridal shower for me. Being that Kristine is three weeks from her due date she definitely went above and beyond! The food was lovely and my champagne glass never empty. What more could a future bride ask for?! I want to thank all my friends, family and co-workers who took time out of their weekend to enjoy a little champagne with me. Thank you! WHAT A SPREAD! NICE PRESENTATION, KRISTINE! THE PARTING GIFTS: WINE AND OPENERS GIFTS ARE FUN! STACY JOHANSEN AND AMY GARDNER DANNY'S BRO STOPPED BY AND THAT'S MY FUTURE MOTHER-IN-LAW. GREAT PIC! GINA AND AMANDA. THANKS, GIRLS!
