Hacienda Corona de Guevavi
More photos of the place we are hoping to snag for the reception. I love it! Monsoon season is in July/August/September so by October it should look really green.
A Holy Mission
On Sunday we headed down south in search of a Catholic church for the wedding. Eight churches and 9 hours later we are still minus a place to get married. The search continues....

A fond memory...
A few years ago for Danny's birthday, I blindfolded, handcuffed and drug him out of town. (Just kidding about the handcuffs, Grandma!) We stayed in Tucson on Friday at Hotel Congress and then headed south to Arizona Wine Country. It's no Napa, but there is wine. What more do you need? We headed through Sonoita, Patagonia and then ended up here. Our beloved wedding reception site. For some reason, this place reminds me of Iowa--the fresh air, the open space and the ever so slight hint of manure. What more could a bride ask for? John Wayne stayed here. (Calm down, Mom.) It's eerily quiet (which freaks Danny out a little bit), yet adorable and romantic. More details to come....

This is the year!
This is the year to get married, that is. 2009. The last possible year before we hit the '10s. Danny & I may have many differences, but procrastination isn't one of them!
So this is what we are thinking: ARIZONA.
Wild notion, I know. I'm surprised it didn't come to us sooner.
Let's say around October? And to make it a little bit exciting let's say somewhere close to Mexico? What's a wedding without a little bit of danger and tequila!$?!
Stay tuned....
